365Telugu.com Online News, Dehradun, October 5th, 2022: 25 people were killed when a bus carrying wedding guests fell into a valley in Uttarakhand last night. 20 passengers were rescued after working all night at the accident site in Puri Garhwal area.
The bus, carrying around 45 people, was traveling on a mountain road in Uttarakhand when it went over the edge and fell 500 meters. A wedding party of more than 40 people left from Laldhang in Haridwar district, police said. 21 people were rescued overnight.
“25 people were killed in a Pauri Garhwal bus accident last night in Birokhal area of Dhumakot. Police and SDRF (State Disaster Response Force) rescued 21 people overnight; the injured were admitted to nearby hospitals,” state police chief Ashok Kumar said.
