365telugu.com online news,Tirumala,june 22,2021: The annual Jyestabhishekam commenced on a religious note in Tirumala temple on Tuesday.This ritual is usually observed to ensure that wear and tear does not happen to the age old processional deities due to year-long festivities. TTD has been observing this fete since 1990 in the month of Jyesta every year.
As part of this fete, Shanti Homam, Satakalasa Pratista, Nava Kalasa Pratista, Kankana Pratista etc. done to deities and Snapana Tirumanjanam performed while reciting Pancha Suktams. Malayappa draped in Vajra Kavacham took on a celestial ride along four mada streets after Sahasra Deepalankara Seva in the evening.
