365telugu.com online news,Tirumala,August 30,2021: On the auspicious occasion of Sri Krishna Janmashtami, TTD launched the unique Navaneeta Seva on Monday.
As part of the festivities, the butter vessel were carried from Goshala by the TTD Chairman YV Subba Reddy and EO Dr KS Jawahar Reddy along with the Srivari Sevakulu in a procession and handed over to the Archakas at Srivari temple.
Speaking to media persons later, the TTD Chairman said the milk from desi Gir cows is used to make curd and through conventional methods churned into butter for use in the Navaneeta Seva.
He said the butter will be daily brought to the Srivari temple from the Goshala in a procession to be used in the ritual and Srivari Sevakulu will render service as processional carriers.
Earlier the Tirumala pontiff’s Sri Sri Sri Pedda Jeeyar Swamy and Sri Sri Sri Chinna Jeeyarswamy along with TTD Chairman and EO reviewed the butter churning exercise at the Goshala decorated for the event richly with rangoli and flowers.
TTD EO DONATES SILVER VESSEL
TTD EO presented a 1.12 kg silver vessel to carry the Navaneeta on the occasion.

The highlight of the Navaneeta Seva procession by Srivari Sevakulu and the artists performing kolatam, bhajans and children dressed as Chinni Krishna and Gopikas.
