365telugu.com online news,Hyderabad, March 4th, 2022: SLG Hospitals, one of the leading healthcare facilities in the city, today organized a workshop on Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) to spread awareness about the lifesaving technique to be used during emergencies. The workshop was organized in the wake of growing instances of sudden cardiac deaths among healthy individuals. Workshop was conducted at the Town Hall in the hospital premises, and more than 250 people aged between 30 yrs and 55 yrs have participated with great enthusiasm and learnt basic CPR techniques.
The Hospital, which has always been at the forefront of creating awareness on various ailments and their cure in the society, organized the workshop along with a health talk on healthy living and sudden cardiac deaths. Even in the past, SLG Hospitals organized many such knowledge sessions and workshops on issues adversely impacting the humankind.
While inaugurating the workshop, Mr. Dandu Siva Rama Raju, Chairman & Managing Director, SLG Hospitals said, “In the event of an emergency, knowing how to perform necessary life-saving techniques quickly and properly, including Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Basic First Aid, can often mean the difference between the life and death of a victim. I believe every able-bodied adult Indian must know how to perform a CPR and basic first aid on those in distress. This would be one step towards building a healthy India, which is the dream of every citizen of this country.”

The Cardiology department was represented by Dr. V Hariram, Dr. Bhanu Kiran Reddy, Dr. Sudheer G, Dr. Manasa M, Dr. Vikas Kumar Shukla, Dr. Vallabhu Venu, Dr. Manjula Kavitha A, and Dr. Bhaskar Tripathi, along with nursing and support staff members of the hospital.
