365Telugu.com Online News, Hyderabad, October13th, 2022: Microsoft is making significant changes to its Microsoft Office brand. After 30 years, Microsoft Office is changing its name to “Microsoft 365” to mark the software giant’s growing collection of productivity apps. While Office apps such as Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint are not going away, Microsoft now primarily refers to these apps as part of Microsoft 365 instead of Microsoft Office.

Microsoft is continuing with this new branding after renaming Office 365 subscriptions to Microsoft 365 two years ago, but now the changes are more significant. “In the coming months, Office.com, the Office mobile app and the Office app for Windows will become the Microsoft 365 app with a new icon, a new look, and more features,” explains the Microsoft FAQ.

If you use any of the dedicated Office apps, they will soon all have the new logo branding Microsoft 365. The first logo and design changes will appear on Office.com in November, followed by a rebrand of the Office app on Windows, iOS and Android in January. Microsoft 365 Teams hosts Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Loop, Clipchamp, Stream and Microsoft’s new Designer apps. Additionally, a central Microsoft 365 app for mobile and desktop will manage relevant colleagues, meetings feed, hub and group custom labels for all files and documents, and content.
