Customers can buy pure gold coins from ATMs using their debit and credit cards. It is reported that the first gold ATM has been opened in Raghupati Chambers, Begumpet, Hyderabad.
Telangana Women Commission Chairperson Sunitha Lakshmareddy inaugurated the gold ATM center. Consumers can purchase gold coins from 0.5 gram to 100 gram, consumers will also get a certificate stating their purity and weight.
Gold ATMs are available 24 hours a day. Officials said that gold ATMs will be set up in Gulzar House, Secunderabad, Abids, Peddapally, Karimnagar and Warangal in Hyderabad.
