365Telugu.com online news,September 3, 2023: Video streaming platform YouTube has removed over 1.9 million videos for violating community norms in India during the January-March quarter this year. So far no other country has seen such a large number of videos removed. This information was provided in a report on YouTube.

During the quarter under review, YouTube removed over 6.48 million videos from the platform globally for violating community standards. Of these, more than 19 lakh videos are from India alone.

YouTube’s ‘Community Guidelines Enforcement’ report provides information on the types of complaints the video streaming platform has received and what action it has taken on them.

In India, YouTube removed over 1.9 million videos in January-March 2023 based on complaints. 6.54 lakh videos were removed in US, 4.91 lakh videos in Russia and 4.49 lakh videos in Brazil.
