365Telugu.com online news,May,17th,2025:In a renewed appeal for peace, Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has urged India to engage in comprehensive talks to address all outstanding issues, including the longstanding Kashmir dispute. Speaking during a special session of the Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) legislative assembly on “Kashmir Solidarity Day,” Sharif emphasized that dialogue is the only viable path forward for both nations.

Sharif called on India to move beyond the events of August 5, 2019, referencing the abrogation of Article 370, which revoked the special status of Jammu and Kashmir. He urged New Delhi to fulfill its commitments to the United Nations and initiate meaningful discussions. “We want all issues, including Kashmir, to be resolved through talks,” Sharif stated, reaffirming Pakistan’s “unwavering moral, diplomatic, and political support” for the Kashmiri people.

The Prime Minister also highlighted that peace is essential for progress and prosperity in the region. He criticized India’s accumulation of arms, suggesting that such measures would not bring peace or change the fate of the Kashmiri people. Sharif’s remarks come amid heightened tensions between the two nuclear-armed neighbors, following recent military confrontations and diplomatic strains.
