365Telugu.com onlne news,Hyderabad, June 18, 2025:Ethiopian Airlines, Africa’s largest airline and one of the fastest-growing carriers globally, has officially launched a new passenger service connecting Addis Ababa to Hyderabad, India. The inaugural flight took off on June 16, 2025, with a vibrant ceremony at Addis Ababa Bole International Airport, attended by senior government officials, ambassadors, industry dignitaries, and aviation stakeholders.

The new service strengthens Ethiopian Airlines’ commitment to enhancing air connectivity between Africa and India, offering passengers more convenient travel options and reinforcing economic and cultural ties between the two regions.

The new route will operate three times a week on the following schedule:

  • ET 682: Addis Ababa (ADD) to Hyderabad (HYD) – Monday, Wednesday, Saturday
  • ET 683: Hyderabad (HYD) to Addis Ababa (ADD) – Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday

Mesfin Tasew, Group CEO of Ethiopian Airlines, commented during the launch:

With Hyderabad added to its growing India network, Ethiopian Airlines now operates more than 50 weekly flights across six Indian cities: Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Ahmedabad, and Hyderabad. This expansion not only caters to increasing passenger demand but also offers enhanced connectivity for travelers moving to, from, and through India.
