365Telugu.com online news,Ahmedabad,July5h, 2025: Gujarat-based H&H Aluminium Pvt Ltd has inaugurated India’s largest and most advanced aluminium solar frame manufacturing facility at Chibhda village in Rajkot, Gujarat. With an impressive capacity of 24,000 metric tons (MT) per annum, the new plant can support up to 6 Gigawatts (GW) of solar installations across the country.
The facility was formally inaugurated on July 4, 2025, by Shri C. R. Patil, Hon’ble Union Minister of Jal Shakti, Government of India, in the presence of senior government officials, H&H Aluminium’s leadership team, and distinguished dignitaries.
Built with an investment of around ₹150 crore on a 28,000 sq. meter site, this state-of-the-art plant began trial production in June 2025, with commercial production expected to start within a month. Once operating at full capacity, it is projected to generate annual sales of ₹700–750 crore and create employment opportunities for more than 300 people.
Commenting on this milestone, Mr. Uttam Patel, Director, H&H Aluminium Pvt Ltd, said,
“This is India’s largest and most advanced aluminium solar panel frame facility at a single location, built in a record time of about one year. We are grateful to the state government and concerned departments for their support.

Today, India still imports 90–95% of its aluminium solar frames. With this facility, we are taking a meaningful step towards the Make in India initiative and promoting domestic manufacturing in the solar energy sector. We expect to commence commercial production within the next month.”
In September 2024, the Government of India imposed an anti-dumping duty ranging from $403 to $577 per MT (approximately 14%) on imports of anodized aluminium frames for solar panels/modules from China, effective for five years, in order to protect domestic manufacturers.
Speaking on the broader sectoral opportunity, Mr. Vijay Kaneria, Director, H&H Aluminium Pvt Ltd, noted,

“India reached the historic milestone of 100 GW of solar power capacity in 2025. With the government targeting 500 GW of renewable energy by 2030 — of which approximately 280 GW is expected to come from solar — there is tremendous potential for solar power and allied industries over the next decade.”
Established with a vision to advance India’s renewable energy sector, H&H Aluminium Pvt Ltd manufactures premium-quality aluminium solar frames built to ASTM and IEC international standards for strength, weather resistance, and durability, supporting reliable and sustainable energy solutions.

The Rajkot facility is equipped with SCADA and IoT-enabled production lines for real-time monitoring and quality control, a fully equipped in-house quality laboratory, and R&D capabilities for product customization.
It also features a zero-liquid discharge anodizing setup. The company’s frames are RoHS and REACH compliant, free from hazardous substances, and fully recyclable, aligning with eco-friendly and sustainable energy goals.
