365Telugu.com online news,Hyderabad, August 19th, 2025: Amazon India has announced the creation of more than 150,000 seasonal work opportunities across its fulfilment centres, sort centres, and last-mile delivery network as the festive season approaches. These roles span over 400 cities, including Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, Pune, Hyderabad, Lucknow, Cochin, Coimbatore, Indore, Raipur, Jalandhar, Jodhpur, Ranchi, Anantnag, and Jalgaon. Notably, thousands of women and over 2,000 differently-abled (PWD) associates are among the new hires. Most of the associates have already joined to prepare for the increased customer demand.
Abhinav Singh, VP – Operations, India & Australia, Amazon, said, “This festive season, we are focused on delivering fast and reliable service across every pin code. The addition of 1.5 lakh associates will help manage the increased demand efficiently. Many associates continue with Amazon beyond the festive period, returning year after year.”
Amazon’s initiatives ensure associate safety and wellbeing, including social security benefits, medical facilities, and a positive work environment.

- Ashray Rest Centres: Expanded to 100 nationwide in 2025.
- Health Check-ups: Free services for over 80,000 delivery associates, covering eye, dental, BMI, and physician consultations.
- Onsite Facilities: Safe drinking water, clean washrooms, air-conditioned cafeterias, snack and beverage vending machines.
- Medical Support: On-site AMCARE facilities with beds, oral hydration, heating pads, and nurses; referrals to hospitals if needed.
- Weather Safety: Forecasting tools alert teams to heat or severe weather conditions, enabling preventive measures.
- Financial Support: Early Access to Pay (EATP) program for salary withdrawals, along with online and offline financial literacy programs (“Samriddhi Camps”).
