Over the past decade, Reliance and Google have played a key role in India’s digital revolution by driving affordable internet access for millions. This new collaboration aims to take the next leap by delivering secure, high-performance AI infrastructure powered by renewable energy and seamlessly connected by Jio’s robust digital network.
As part of the partnership, Reliance will design and build a state-of-the-art cloud facility in Jamnagar, fully aligned with Google Cloud’s global standards. The new cloud region will support large-scale AI workloads and enable Reliance to modernize its operations, drive faster innovation, and transform all its businesses with AI.

The dedicated AI-first cloud region will empower enterprises, SMBs, startups, developers, and public sector organizations with scalable, high-performance AI solutions backed by Jio’s extensive network and Reliance’s clean energy leadership. Google Cloud will deploy its AI Hypercomputer and integrated generative AI stack, providing powerful models, development platforms, and AI-driven applications.
Sustainability will be at the core of the project, with the facility powered by Reliance’s green energy initiatives. Jio will also ensure high-capacity fiber connectivity linking Jamnagar to major hubs such as Mumbai and Delhi.
