365telugu.com online news,Hyderabad,September 1st, 2025: The CDSL Investor Protection Fund (CDSL IPF) and BSE Investor Protection Fund (BSE IPF), under the aegis of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) and the Investor Education and Protection Fund Authority (IEPFA), Ministry of Corporate Affairs, jointly organized Niveshak Shivir in Hyderabad on August 30, 2025.
The initiative was aimed at helping shareholders reclaim unpaid dividends and unclaimed shares, thereby reducing unclaimed investor assets and fostering greater awareness of investor rights and protections.
Key Highlights of Niveshak Shivir:
- End-to-end assistance on claiming dividends and shares unclaimed for over six years.
- On-the-spot updating of KYC and nomination details.
- Immediate resolution of claim-related queries.
- Support for processing pending claims with IEPFA.

The event, held in collaboration with leading Market Infrastructure Institutions (MIIs) — BSE, NSE, NSDL — along with Registrar and Transfer Agents (RTAs) including KFin Technologies, Bigshare Services, Purva Sharegistry, and MUFG Infoline, featured 23 dedicated service desks offering comprehensive support to investors.
Over 360 participants — including students, entrepreneurs, retail investors, and corporate professionals — attended the day-long program.
The event was graced by distinguished dignitaries including Smt. Anita Shah Akella, CEO of IEPFA and Joint Secretary, Ministry of Corporate Affairs; Shri Jeevan Sonparote and Shri Sunil Jayawant Kadam, Executive Directors, SEBI; Lt. Col Aditya Sinha, General Manager, IEPFA; and other senior officials from SEBI, IEPFA, MIIs, and RTAs.

On this occasion, IEPFA and SEBI, along with MIIs, unveiled an Investor Guide developed by CDSL, offering a step-by-step roadmap for investors to resolve claims efficiently.
The sessions throughout the day addressed challenges around unclaimed investor assets and reinforced the collective commitment of SEBI and IEPFA to empowering an ‘Atmanirbhar Investor’ by simplifying processes and strengthening investor education.
