365telugu.com online news,National, september 1st, 2025:Ather Energy, India’s leading electric two-wheeler manufacturer, today announced a wave of product and technology innovations at the third edition of Ather Community Day 2025. Headlining the announcements was the launch of the all-new EL platform — Ather’s first new vehicle architecture since the 450 — built for versatility, scalability, and cost optimisation.

The EL platform paves the way for an entirely new generation of Ather scooters across multiple segments, redefining performance, choice, and innovation for Indian riders.

Alongside EL, Ather introduced AtherStack™ 7.0 with voice-based interaction, its next-generation fast-charger, and major updates to its existing portfolio including the Rizta Z, the 450 Apex, and the HALO smart helmet.

EL Platform: Built for Scale, Versatility & Performance

Developed from 26 lakh km of field data, the EL platform introduces a new chassis, powertrain, and redesigned electronics stack. Its modular design allows multiple scooter types to be built from common components, ensuring faster development and cost-efficiency.

  • 15% faster assembly with simplified architecture and reduced components
  • 2X faster periodic services with intervals extended to 10,000 km
  • Advanced Electronic Braking System (AEBS) for shorter stopping distance and improved safety
  • Ather Charge Drive Controller integrating onboard charger + motor controller, eliminating the need for portable chargers

Tarun Mehta, Co-founder & CEO, Ather Energy, said:
“With the EL platform, we are laying the foundation for Ather’s next phase of growth. Just as the 450 defined our first chapter, EL will define the next. It reflects years of R&D and will enable us to innovate and scale faster, while improving serviceability and rider experience.”

Ather showcased Redux, a bold concept blending the nimbleness of a scooter with the dynamics of a motorcycle.

Key innovations include:

  • Lightweight aluminium frame & 3D-printed lattice mesh seat
  • Adaptive ride dynamics with posture-based transformation from scooter to sport-bike
  • Morph-UI: contextual interface adapting to rider intent
  • Take Off mode for ultra-fast acceleration

Redux is Ather’s vision of next-gen performance and intelligence.

AtherStack™ 7.0: Voice, AI & Smarter Safety

The latest version of Ather’s proprietary tech stack brings voice as a natural interaction medium, powered by a custom-tuned Large Language Model (LLM) for Indian dialects.

New features include:

  • Proactive updates on live location, tyre pressure, and key alerts
  • Pothole Alerts & Crash Alerts using fleet data and proactive notifications
  • Expanded security suite with ParkSafe™ (unsafe parking detection) and LockSafe™ (remote scooter immobilisation)
  • Remote control for charging and shutdown

OTA updates for AtherStack™ 7.0 will roll out soon to the Rizta Z and 450X (Gen 3 onward).

Swapnil Jain, Co-founder & CTO, Ather Energy, said:
“With AtherStack 7.0, we’re bringing AI into everyday riding. Voice makes rides smarter, safer, and more intuitive — an interface beyond buttons, designed for Indian riders.”

  • Ather HALO Smart Helmet – now with new colours, anti-fog visor, USB-C charging, premium audio, and voice integration.
  • 450 Apex 2025 – updated with Infinite Cruise™, offering CityCruise™, Hill Control, and Crawl Control for varied riding conditions.
  • Rizta Z – OTA upgrade enabling full touchscreen functionality, refreshed UI, new Eco Mode, and a striking Terracotta Red dual-tone finish.

Ather also unveiled a compact 6 kW fast charger, delivering 2X faster charging speeds -adding 30 km in just 10 minutes for select scooters. Some chargers will also feature built-in tyre inflators.

With LECCS standard adoption by 10 partners, including Hero Vida, Matter, Bolt, Kazam, and EVamp, industry-wide interoperability is now stronger than ever.

From the EL platform and Redux concept, to AtherStack™ 7.0 and next-gen fast charging, Ather Energy has set the stage for the future of electric mobility in India — one that combines performance, intelligence, and scale.
