Tackling Breast Cancer in India
Breast cancer remains one of the most common cancers among women worldwide. In India, over 2 lakh women are diagnosed annually, and every 8 minutes a woman dies due to late-stage detection. Early diagnosis is treatable, and the Easiest Exam campaign encourages women to perform a quick 3-minute self-breast exam regularly.
The second edition of the Easiest Exam campaign will launch in October, coinciding with Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The campaign will include awareness drives, podcasts, interactions with breast cancer survivors, on-ground events, and expert dialogues with oncologists. It aims to dispelling myths, addressing stigma, and celebrating stories of resilience and hope among breast cancer warriors.
