365telugu.com online news,Sriharikota,2nd November 2025:India’s space agency ISRO has successfully launched its heaviest-ever communication satellite CMS-03 aboard the LVM3-M5, popularly known as the “Bahubali” rocket. The majestic liftoff took place from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre, Sriharikota, at 5:26 PM on Sunday.
Weighing around 4,410 kg, the CMS-03 satellite is the heaviest satellite ever launched from Indian soil into a Geosynchronous Transfer Orbit (GTO). This remarkable feat marks a new milestone in India’s growing capability to deploy heavy payloads into space without foreign assistance.
The LVM3-M5 rocket features a three-stage configuration — two solid strap-on boosters (S200), a liquid core stage (L110), and a cryogenic upper stage (C25). This robust structure enables the rocket to carry large satellites into distant orbits, solidifying India’s position among the few nations capable of executing such high-mass space missions.

With this successful launch, ISRO has reinforced India’s self-reliance in space technology, paving the way for future advancements in satellite communication, defence applications, broadcasting, and connectivity services.
