365telugu.com online news,National, November 6, 2025:As India marks a decade of the Digital India mission, Indus Towers today revealed that its solar-powered Digital Transformation Van (DTV) under the ‘Saksham’ CSR flagship has digitally enabled 136,525 individuals from underserved communities across seven states.
Rolling out since 2018 in partnership with NIIT Foundation, the 21-seater mobile classroom has traversed rural pockets and urban slums in Delhi, Uttarakhand, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, and Odisha.
Equipped with high-speed internet, computers, printers, and e-learning tools, the van delivers doorstep training in digital literacy, IT skills, cybersecurity, financial education, and public services.
Over 50% of beneficiaries are women, underscoring Indus Towers’ focus on gender-inclusive growth. Sessions—tailored for schoolchildren (12+), farmers, senior citizens, and homemakers—also cover digital safety, environmental conservation, and waste management.

Neeti Wahi, Chief Digital & Information Officer, Indus Towers, said: “DTV embodies our belief that technology must reach the last mile. By taking education to doorsteps instead of waiting at fixed centers, we’re creating confidence, self-reliance, and sustainable livelihoods—especially for women.”
Unlike static digital centers, the van’s mobility allows real-time customization to local needs, making it a dynamic equalizer in the digital revolution. The initiative directly supports the Government’s vision of an empowered, inclusive digital society.
