Powered by The Times Group and sanctioned by the Indian Pickleball Association (IPA) under the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, the league has unveiled its first five teams – and Hyderabad Royals is proudly among them, alongside Gurugram, Mumbai, Chennai, and Bengaluru.

The high-octane debut season will be played from 1–7 December 2025 at the KD Jadhav Indoor Hall, Indira Gandhi Stadium, New Delhi.

A city that has produced badminton legends and nurtured racquet-sport excellence for decades, Hyderabad is now ready to dominate the fastest-growing racquet sport in the world. Pickleball has exploded across corporate parks, residential communities, and clubs in the city, making Hyderabad Royals a natural powerhouse in the league.

The franchise is owned by Operam Ventures Pvt. Ltd., a Hyderabad-based technology and digital transformation leader. Speaking on the launch, Anubhav Tyagi, Managing Director, Operam Ventures, said: “Hyderabad has always embraced innovation – on the tech front and now in sports.
