365telugu.com online news, HYDERABAD, December 16th, 2025: In a major boost to green energy employment in the state, Tata BlueScope Steel (TBSPL), in partnership with Tata STRIVE, has launched a specialized skill development program for the youth of Telangana.

This Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative aims to address the growing demand for skilled professionals in the renewable energy sector, aligning with India’s ambitious goal of achieving non-fossil fuel electric power capacity by 2030.

Focus on ‘Surya Mitra’ Training..
Tata BlueScope Steel, a leader in construction solutions, has collaborated with Tata STRIVE—the skill development arm of the Tata Community Initiatives Trust—to launch a dedicated program for aspiring Solar PV Installers.

National Alignment: The program, launched in Hyderabad, is conducted in alignment with the Government of India’s Surya Mitra Program.

Career Opportunities: Certified ‘Surya Mitras’ will be prepared for both entrepreneurship and employment, securing roles in installation, commissioning, operations, and maintenance within the rapidly expanding solar energy ecosystem.

The intensive training is designed to create a pool of job-ready youth in the renewable energy space:
