The celebration highlighted the Mission’s enduring legacy of nurturing values and clarity of thought in society.

The event was led by Pujya Swami Swaroopananda Ji, Global Head of Chinmaya Mission, and saw the participation of Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, along with several prominent dignitaries and spiritual leaders.

Mass Chanting and Inclusive Participation
A major highlight of the Mahotsav was the mass chanting of the Bhagavad Gita, specifically the 15th chapter (Purushottama Yoga). Over 14,000 participants joined the collective recitation on Sunday. In a moving display of inclusion, the gathering included 200 visually challenged children, emphasizing the Mission’s message that spiritual wisdom is accessible to everyone.

Launch of ‘Gita Panchamrit’
During the event, Pujya Swami Swaroopananda Ji unveiled ‘Gita Panchamrit’, a new initiative aimed at simplifying the core teachings of the Gita. Under the theme “5 Shlokas. 1 Essence,” the program encourages people of all ages to integrate five key verses into their daily lives, transforming the ancient text into a practical guide for modern living.

“The Bhagavad Gita is meant to be lived, not just studied,” said Swami Swaroopananda Ji. “If each of us remembers just five verses, our youth will naturally grow curious about the immense wealth of knowledge our rishis and Pujya Gurudev Swami Chinmayananda dedicated their lives to sharing.”

The Mahotsav featured immersive experiences and exhibitions, including:

Other notable attendees included former Chief Secretary L V Subrahmanyam, former Vice-Chancellor Pasala Geervani, and various spiritual heads from the Ramakrishna Math and Chinmaya Mission centers.
