A primary driver of this success has been the collaboration with the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC). Shri Arunkumar Pillai, CEO of NSDC, highlighted the completion of the first phase of the Future Ready Skill Initiative, noting that the partnership is now entering a second phase to expand access to emerging job markets.

The Three-Pillar Approach
Reliance Foundation’s strategy to bridge the employability gap rests on three key pillars:

Workplace Readiness: Equipping graduates (specifically those not currently in education or employment) with soft skills like critical thinking and communication.

Institutional Alignment: Partnering with bodies like AICTE and various universities to ensure curricula match industry needs.

Digital Access: The Reliance Foundation Skilling Academy, a digital platform, provides over 100 AI-powered, self-paced courses and NSDC-certified credentials to youth nationwide.

Success Story: The event also honored 40 young achievers. Among them was 24-year-old Kashish Sawant, who utilized the foundation’s training to secure her first job and achieve rapid career advancement within just a few months.

As industries continue to be reshaped by AI and automation, the Foundation reaffirmed its commitment to using digital innovation to ensure Indian youth remain competitive in a global market.
