A recent study by AIG Hospitals among IT professionals in Hyderabad’s Hitech City revealed that 80% were overweight, while 40% of children in government schools were diagnosed with non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD). Dr. Reddy urged immediate action, cautioning that if obesity remains unchecked, the healthcare burden will become unsustainable.
