This feature, now live on the Airtel Thanks app, aims to streamline the payment process for India’s rapidly growing electric vehicle (EV) community.

Solving Fragmented Payments for EV Owners
Previously, EV owners faced the inconvenience of managing multiple wallets tied to specific Charging Point Operators (CPOs). The new “EV Recharge” category eliminates this friction by offering an interoperable and instant top-up solution. Users can now manage their charging funds through a single, secure interface regardless of the operator.

How to Recharge via Airtel Thanks App
The process is designed to be completed in a few simple steps:

Login: Open the Airtel Thanks App.

Select Service: Navigate to ‘Pay Bills’ and select “Recharge EV.”

Details: Enter the registered mobile number and the desired recharge amount.

Payment: Confirm and pay securely via Bharat Connect-enabled methods.

Instant Credit: The balance reflects immediately in the user’s EV wallet.
