This feature is now available in the YouTube Music app for Android and iOS operating systems. This feature is introduced to enhance the music experience. The new feature is interactive, dynamically updated music with assignments with improved design and music.

The Live Lyrics feature was first released in June 2020 on Spotify in India. Later it expanded to more countries by November 2021.
