The film is a joint presentation by AAR Film Makers and Natya Margam, and promises to be a moving portrayal of motherhood.

Celebrated classical dancer and actress Indrani Davaluri plays the lead role, bringing to life the character of a loving and selfless mother.

Indrani, who previously impressed audiences with her lead performance in the feature film Andela Ravamidi, is known for her strong screen presence and has received multiple accolades for her work in the arts.

Speaking about the film, she shared, “A mother gives everything and asks for nothing in return. Amma is a tribute to every such mother who loves unconditionally.”

The film has been written and directed by Harish Bannai, who also penned the screenplay and dialogues. Reflecting on the film’s theme, he said, “In our most difficult times, it’s our mother who silently suffers for us. Her pain often goes unnoticed, just like a candle that melts away to give us light. Amma is an emotional narrative capturing this very essence of motherhood.”

The cast includes Sambi, Sudha Kondapu, Reena Bommasani, along with Indrani Davaluri. The film’s music is composed by K.V. Bharadwaj, while Karthik Kalluri handles cinematography, promising a visually and emotionally engaging experience.

Publicity for the film is being managed by PROs Ashok Dayyala and Kadali Rambabu.
