Today, we bring you one such story as a part of OYO Hotels & Homes’ latest campaign, ‘Choti Shuruaat, Badi Udaan’ from Hyderabad, that tells us that we should never be afraid of dreaming too big.Naresh Saragandla, the owner of  OYO 40852 Hotel White Ridge, Hyderabad, started his entrepreneurial journey right after school. When all of his classmates were preparing for college entrance exams, he was looking for ways to establish his own business. Initially, his family supported him, and along with his friends, he started a dairy business. He was later joined by two of his friends, but he was continuously on the lookout for unique challenging opportunities that would enable him to earn more. During that time, Pawan, his close friend decided to enter the hospitality business in Hyderabad, and Naresh invested in his hotel with all of his life savings. It was a big risk for him at that time. Leaving his well-established dairy business with no back-up or support from his family, he decided to concentrate on establishing the hotel with Pawan.

With my family and friends’ help, I set up a dairy business, and it was thriving. However, I was inspired when my friend opened his first hotel business. There was something that stuck to me. My love for meeting new people and serving them with the best stay-in experience motivated me to enter the hospitality business. Even during the lock-down, with continuous guidance and support from OYO’s ground team, we served many guests, frontline workers and staff with safe and hygienic accommodation.
