Generally they do blood sugar tests. Fasting blood sugar (FBS) and random blood sugar (RBS) tests are done by collecting blood.
But a Telugu scientist has developed an innovative device to test for diabetes. Vusa Chiranjeevi Srinivasa Rao of Narayanapuram, Unguthur Mandal, Eluru District, Andhra Pradesh invented a device that tests sugar with sweat.
He is An electrochemical device was introduced to determine glucose. Scientist Chiranjeevi Srinivasa Rao also got a patent for this device.
With this device you can know the sugar levels in just one minute by testing through sweat without blood work. After fully testing this device prepared by him, the Government of India has recently issued a certificate giving patent rights.
Chiranjeevi Srinivasa Rao did his PhD in Biochemistry. Currently he is working as a scientist in the chemical engineering department of IIT Kanpur.
He worked for four years to create this device. This device is made using electrical, electrochemical and sensors. The device was tested in all ways and on December 29, the Indian Patent Authority issued a certificate granting patent rights to Srinivasa Rao.
