365telugu.com online news,August 31, 2025 : The Emirates Cricket Board (ECB) has revised the start times for the upcoming Asia Cup 2025 to counter the soaring temperatures in the UAE. As per the new schedule, 18 of the 19 matches will now begin at 6:30 pm Gulf Standard Time (8:00 pm IST), instead of the originally planned 6:00 pm GST (7:30 pm IST).
The only exception is the UAE vs Oman clash on September 15 at Zayed Cricket Stadium, Abu Dhabi, which remains a day game starting at 4:00 pm local time (5:30 pm IST).
ECB stated that the decision was taken to protect players from extreme weather conditions and to offer a more comfortable experience for fans attending the games.
