365Telugu.com online news,June 11th2025:The scheduled launch of the Axiom-4 mission, which includes Indian astronaut Shubhanshu Shukla, has been postponed due to a liquid oxygen (LOX) leak identified during pre-flight inspections. The mission was set to launch aboard a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket on June 11 at 5:30 PM IST.
The leak was discovered after a static-fire test of the rocket booster. Despite efforts to resolve the issue, SpaceX engineers were unable to complete repairs in time. As a result, the launch has been deferred indefinitely.
In an official update, SpaceX stated: “Standing down from tomorrow’s Falcon 9 launch of Ax-4 to the @Space_Station to allow additional time for SpaceX teams to repair the LOx leak identified during post static fire booster inspections. Once complete—and pending Range availability—we will share a new launch date.”

This is the second delay for the Axiom-4 mission. A previous launch attempt was pushed back due to unfavorable weather conditions. The mission crew includes Commander Peggy Whitson and mission specialists from Hungary and Poland, with Shukla serving as the pilot.
NASA has also confirmed the postponement and stated that it will coordinate with Axiom Space and SpaceX to finalize a new launch window once the LOX system issue is resolved.
The new launch date is yet to be announced.
