365Telugu.com Online News, August 25, 2024: The Ram Mandir in Ayodhya has finally been inaugurated, putting an end to a long-standing dispute. The temple was constructed after the Supreme Court cleared the way, and it became the first temple to be built entirely with public donations.

Now, everyone is talking about a cheque that was sent to the Ayodhya temple. According to reports, a cheque of ₹2,100 crores was sent to the temple trust. This amount is considered the largest donation the temple has received so far. However, there’s a twist—who was the cheque made out to?

The donor who sent the cheque made it out in the name of the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund. This unexpected move has shocked the temple trust members. To get more clarity, the trust has decided to send the cheque to the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) to verify its legality. The cheque was reportedly received a few days ago.

On the other hand, more details have emerged about the donations and expenditures of the temple trust. The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra bank account holds ₹2,600 crores in fixed deposits.

Regarding expenses, the trust has spent ₹776 crores on the temple’s construction so far. In total, ₹1,850 crores have been spent on temple construction and other related expenses.
