Nearly 2500 families from suburban slums and tribal communities were supported
365Telugu.com online news, August 15th,2023:The recent floods in Telangana have caused significant destruction displacing numerous families and leaving them without any basic facilities. In response to this, Amazon India and Donate Kart in collaboration with Bala Vikasa distributed relief kits to the flood victims of Warangal, Hanumakonda and the tribal communities of Mulugu.
The relief kits consist of shelter essentials HDPE Tarpaulin Sheet (12 x 18), Sleeping HDPE Tarpaulin sheet (12×9) and hygiene essentials soaps, sanitary pads, tarpaulin, and other essential items. The kits were distributed to those who lost their homes and have no access to daily necessities.
MLA Seethakka, MLA Vinay Bhaskar, MLA Aruri Ramesh and Warangal Municipal Commissioner Rizwanbasha Shaik participated in the various distributions organized in the district.
Shoury Reddy Singareddy, Executive Director of Bala Vikasa expressed his gratitude to Amazon and Donate Kart for choosing Bala Vikasa as the implementing partner to provide relief to the flood-stricken families of Telangana.
