Later addressing those gathered,Nandamuri Balakrishna has extended warm wishes to all those celebrating Christmas festival. He explained that Christmas has given a message of servicing humanity is itself the service of
God. Pointing out the way people from different religions are coexisting and living peacefully together in India,Balakrishna explained that India has shown the same to world how people from varied faiths can live together. He further cautioned all the people to be vigilant while celebrating the festival as Omicran variant of COVID is trying to spread across the world.
He appealed to the people to take all the precautions while celebrating the festivals. While appreciating the doctors for providing yeoman services during the COVID pandemic, he explained that with the kind of services they have once again proved that a doctor is a living GOD.Earlier in the program,Nandamuri Balakrishna has cut the Christmas Cake arranged by hospital staff. He also watched various cultural programs performed by Nursing Students of the hospital.
Along with Nandamuri Balakrishna, Chairman, BIACH&RI, the program was attended by Dr RV Prabhakar Rao, CEO, BIACH&RI; Dr TS Rao,Medical Director, BIACH&RI; Smt K Srivani, Nursing Superintendent, BIACH&RI and doctors, nursing staff, paramedical staff, nursing students and others working in the hospital.
