With this payment, Airtel has successfully prepaid all spectrum-related dues bearing interest rates above 8.65%, reflecting its commitment to financial discipline and cost efficiency.
In the calendar year 2024 alone, Airtel has prepaid a total of ₹28,320 crore in spectrum liabilities, significantly reducing its interest burden and strengthening its balance sheet.
