365telugu.com online news,MUMBAI,January 29th,2026: In a move to bridge the gap between classroom learning and professional reality, BITS Design School has announced the integration of BITS Pilani’s renowned Practice School (PS) program into its undergraduate curriculum.

The initiative will allow Bachelor of Design (B.Des) students to engage in structured, industry-embedded learning, making professional experience a mandatory, credit-bearing part of their degree.

A Multi-Phased Industry Immersion
The program is designed to provide students with cumulative real-world exposure starting from their second year. The curriculum now includes two distinct phases:

Practice School–I: An 8-week engagement at the end of the second year focusing on initial industry orientation.

Practice School–II: A comprehensive 22-week deep-dive immersion during the final year, where students work as part of professional teams.

Annapoorna Gopal, Dean of the Practice School, added that the inclusion of design students would bring a fresh, creative lens to industry problem-solving within multidisciplinary teams.
