365Telugu.com online news,Visakhapatnam, March 23, 2025: Boeing India, in collaboration with the Learning Links Foundation (LLF), has successfully completed the third batch of its aerospace manufacturing training program in Andhra Pradesh. With the fourth batch currently in progress, the initiative aims to skill a total of 127 students by April 2025.

A felicitation ceremony was held at the Government Polytechnic College in Visakhapatnam, where Shri Mathukumilli Sribharat, Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha), honored the graduates. The event was attended by key dignitaries, including Dr. Ramakrishna Rao, Deputy Director, Training and Placement, Department of Education; Shri Murali Krishna Gannamani, Managing Director, Fluentgrid; Praveena Yagnambhat, Chief of Staff & CSR Leader, Boeing India and South Asia; Sudha Priyadarshan, Senior Vice President, Learning Links Foundation; along with representatives from Boeing India and LLF.

Speaking at the event, Shri M. Sribharat emphasized the government’s commitment to fostering progressive policies and strategic collaborations. “The Government of Andhra Pradesh is dedicated to providing world-class education and skill development opportunities. This program enhances employment prospects for our youth while reinforcing the state’s reputation as a hub for aerospace innovation and advanced manufacturing,” he said.

The initiative provides structured, industry-aligned training, hands-on experience, and career counseling to students from government polytechnics in Visakhapatnam, Srikakulam, and Vizianagaram districts. Training is conducted at the MSME Technology Centre, with a remarkable 94% placement rate achieved for graduates of the first two batches. Campus placements are ongoing for the current batch across various industries.

Salil Gupte, President, Boeing India and South Asia, highlighted the increasing demand for aviation professionals. “Boeing’s latest Commercial Market Outlook estimates a requirement of 37,000 pilots and an equal number of technicians in South Asia over the next two decades. With 90% of aircraft demand originating from India, youth skilling initiatives in emerging hubs like Andhra Pradesh are crucial for sustaining the growth of India’s aviation and allied industries,” he stated.

The Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) in Andhra Pradesh has recognized the program as an exemplary vocational training model, particularly for its integration of soft skills, technical education, and on-the-job training—key factors in enhancing student employability.
