“There were four members of the family. They included a husband, wife and two children i.e. a girl and a boy. They had returned from Suryapet and bought biryani at a hotel in Lakdikapool. That’s what they went home and ate. After that, the son did not wake up until the afternoon. he did not wake up.
A Saifabad police officer said that he was found dead when he saw what had happened. The deceased’s father and his daughter also fell ill. immediately taken to the hospital. After the death of the boy, the family members lodged a complaint with the Saifabad police.
The police registered a case under Section 174 of CrPC, conducted a post-mortem and handed over the boy’s body to the family.”Biryani samples have been collected and sent to the forensic science laboratory for analysis and based on the reports, appropriate action will be taken,” said the police.
The family members say that after returning from Suryapet, they only ate biryani before sleeping. The family members allege that their son died due to food poisoning due to that biryani alone.
