365telugu.com online news,Goa, January 27, 2026:Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL), a Maharatna PSU and Fortune Global 500 company, has announced a major infrastructure project to streamline aviation fuel supply. The company signed an agreement to develop a dedicated Aviation Turbine Fuel (ATF) pipeline connecting its Malkapur installation directly to the GMR Hyderabad International Airport (GHIAL).
The agreement was finalized in Goa between Shri Sujit Kumar, BPCL’s Chief General Manager – Marketing (Aviation), and Mr. Ashish Kumar, Chief Commercial Officer of GHIAL.

Enhancing Efficiency and Sustainability
The project is designed to replace traditional road-based fuel transportation with a more reliable and eco-friendly pipeline system. Spanning 56 kilometers, including a one-kilometer stretch within the airport grounds, the pipeline will operate on a “common carrier” basis.
Reduced Carbon Footprint: By eliminating the need for thousands of tank lorries, the project will significantly cut carbon emissions and traffic congestion.
Operational Excellence: The pipeline ensures a seamless, uninterrupted supply of fuel to meet the demands of one of India’s fastest-growing aviation hubs.
