British Deputy High Commissioner Win Owen met CM Jagan

365Telugu.com Online News, Amaravati, October 14th, 2022:British Deputy High Commissioner Gareth Win Owen met AP CM Jagan. On this occasion, Win Owen said that the efforts being made by the Andhra Pradesh government in the fields of education and medicine and the policies being followed are excellent and they are ready to work with the state government.

Win Owen shared with Jagan the points that had already been met with the senior officials of various government departments and briefly discussed on various issues. He assured that the plan to implement the family doctor concept which is being implemented in UK is very good and will provide necessary support. CM Jagan explained the measures taken by the government to strengthen the medical and health sector to the British team.

The exchange policy of UK-India students and giving British visas to more students from AP were also discussed in this meeting, and Win Owen responded positively. The British team assured the CM that they will take necessary steps to move ahead with the partnership of the Andhra Pradesh government, showing interest in IT and research sectors.

Jagan briefed the British team on the investments and opportunities in AP and discussed the progress of the industrial parks being developed in the state in this meeting. Win Owen learned with interest the innovative policies followed by the Andhra Pradesh government in the field of agriculture.

Owen’s team explained to the Chief Minister that they will discuss the training of teachers in this meeting and provide full support in the field of education. British Commission Trade and Investment Head Varun Mali, Political Economy Advisor Nalini Raghuraman and CM’s Special Chief Secretary Dr KS Jawahar Reddy participated in this meeting.
