The Fun at work award recognizes and rewards companies that encourage and thrive a highly engaged and fun work atmosphere for their employees. CDK Global takes pride in the fact it has been successful in engaging their multi-generational workforce with the help of an innovative and comprehensive engagement platform called ‘CrossJam – Beyond Work’ driven by a passionate team of Crew members who volunteer to contribute and run these initiatives. CrossJam was conceptualized and launched at CDK India with a view that employees can live their passion at work and thereby create a second identity for them. For driving this unique engagement initiative and bringing joy and fun at work, the entire 1400 India employee base is divided into 6 teams based on their months of birth with leaders identified for each of them to participate in creative contests. Over the last two years, a variety of unique events catering to the interests of all generations of employees have been organized under the umbrella of CrossJam in association with 8 CDK Clubs promoting Living Passion at Work. They range from Sports – Table Tennis, Cricket, Fitness – Step Challenge, Ramp Walk, Rangoli, Toastmasters Humorous Speech, Antakshari, Quiz, Tambola/Housie and Blogathon to name a few. These periodic events see great participation from all levels and functions and are thoroughly enjoyed and looked forward by the all the CDK employees.
