The Ministry of Heavy Industries has reduced the subsidy amount from Rs 15,000 per kilowatt to Rs 10,000 from June 1. So the company increased them. This decision taken by the government is putting a heavy burden on people’s pockets.

Ampere E-Scooter New Prices

The lowest priced product in the Ampere range is now the Zeal EX. Its price has increased by Rs.20,900. The mid-tier Magnus EX is now priced at Rs. 104,900. Its price has also increased by Rs.21,000. These two electric scooters can go 80 to 100 kilometers on a single charge. The range has been certified by IDC, the company said.

The small SUV gave tough competition to the likes of Seltos and Carens, becoming the number-1 seller in May with over 8251 vehicles sold.

The Ampere Primus was the company’s first model. It is also the only Ampere product that uses LFP batteries. Primus new price is now Rs. 1.49 lakhs. Earlier it was priced at Rs 1.09 lakh. That means the company has increased the price by around Rs.40,000. Ampere has also joined the top-5 companies selling electric two-wheelers in the country.
