365Telugu.com online news, Hyderabad, January 10th, 2025: The Dr. Vijay Kumar Datla Foundation, the CSR arm of Biological E. Limited, in partnership with the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) and the Government of Telangana, has inaugurated the Biological E.

Limited (BE) Skill Development Centre in Bollaram today. This initiative aims to empower local communities by offering free, industry-relevant skill development programmes to unemployed youth, paving the way for sustainable livelihoods.

The newly established Skill Development Centre will provide vocational training across high-demand sectors such as Pharma, Tailoring, Fashion Designing, Beauty & Wellness, Digital Communication (IT/ITES), and Retailing.

Each course runs for three months, equipping participants with job-ready skills. No specific educational qualification is required for vocational courses, while industrial courses are open to candidates with a minimum qualification of 10th grade, ITI, Diploma, or Graduation.

A notable feature of the Centre is the provision of free crèche services for mothers enrolled in the training programmes. This allows them to focus on their skill development while ensuring their children are cared for in a safe environment.

Speaking at the inauguration, Dr. Trishanya Raju, Managing Trustee of the Dr. Vijay Kumar Datla Foundation, stated, “The launch of this Centre is a significant step towards uplifting communities by providing them with the tools they need to achieve sustainable livelihoods.

Through our collaboration with GHMC, the Government of Telangana, and our partners, we aim to empower the unemployed youth by transforming their potential into real opportunities. This initiative is not just about skill development; it’s about fostering long-term community growth and creating brighter futures.”

The Foundation has renovated the GHMC’s vacant Model Market Building, turning it into a modern learning space equipped with classrooms, a canteen, counselling rooms, pharmaceutical labs, and a 16-seater computer lab for IT/ITES training. The Centre plans to train approximately 180 candidates each quarter, with an annual target of 600-720 trainees across various courses.

The BE Skill Development Centre represents a powerful step forward in the mission to equip individuals with essential skills, creating pathways to employment and contributing to the region’s socio-economic development.
