Chamundi has good colour retention capacity (CRC) allowing farmers to store (upto 6-8 months) and time the market for better price realization.Chamundi offers an additional advantage of helping the farmers catch the market early by 8-10 days.Said Dilip Rajan, Managing Director of East-West Seed India “East-West Seed has over 25 years of breeding expertise in hot peppers. Both Chamundi and Laava are extremely pungent and hence aptly named and we believe farmers will realize a better produce prize with these two new hybrids.”
