365Telugu.com onlne news, Tirupati, 11 DECEMBER,2024: TTD EO Sri J Syamala Rao offered Pattu Vastrams on Wednesday to the famous Sri Vaishnavaite shrine of Sri Ranganatha Swamy at Sri Rangam in Tamilnadu.
TTD has been offering Pattu Vastrams to some ancient and important shrines across the country since 2008.
Earlier on his arrival at the main entrance of the temple, the EO and his entourage were received by Sri Mariappan, Joint Commissioner of Sri Rangam Temple. Later the EO offered silks to the presiding deity and had darshan of the Mula Virat and other sub temples located within the main temple complex.
Usually the Srirangam temple authorities offer vastrams to Tirumala temple on the auspicious day of Anivara Asthanam every year while TTD offers Pattu vastrams to Sri Rangam temple on the Ekadasi day in this holy month of Kathikai.
Temple DyEO Sri Lokanadham and other religious staff of TTD were also present.
