365Telugu.com online news, Hyderabad,January 8th,2025: The Telangana High Court on Tuesday heard the lunch motion filed by BRS Working President K. T. Rama Rao in the Formula E Race case. The court sought information from the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) regarding the practice of allowing advocates to be present during the questioning of accused individuals.
Rama Rao’s legal team filed the lunch motion requesting the court to direct the ACB to permit advocates to accompany him during the questioning. Justice K. Lakshman, before whom the motion was presented, inquired with the ACB’s standing counsel whether such a practice existed. Specifically, he wanted to know if the ACB allowed advocates to observe the questioning from a distance.
The judge also directed the petitioner’s counsel to provide the names of three advocates who should be allowed to attend. The matter will be revisited at 4 p.m.
