365telugu.com online news,DUBAI, January 22nd,2026: In a landmark achievement for global public safety, the Fire and Security Association of India (FSAI) and the Dubai Civil Defence (DCD) announced today that their strategic partnership has successfully delivered fire safety awareness to over 500 million people across 64 countries in less than a year.
The announcement was made during the World Safety Summit 2026 at Expo City Dubai, an event attended by His Highness Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. The progress marks the halfway point toward the alliance’s ambitious global goal of training one billion individuals in life-saving safety protocols.
India’s Strategic Role on the Global Stage
Representing India at the summit, the FSAI delegation highlighted the impact of community-level engagement and knowledge sharing. This collaboration stems from a three-year Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed in early 2025, designed to foster international cooperation in firefighting research, civil defence, and safety training.

Pioneering AI in Fire Safety
A major highlight of the summit was the formation of a Global AI Task Force by the Dubai Civil Defence. This elite group is tasked with integrating Artificial Intelligence into emergency response and fire prevention systems worldwide.
In a significant nod to India’s technical expertise:
FSAI was selected as one of only eight organizations globally to join the task force.
Dipen Mehta, National Secretary of FSAI, was elected as an Executive Member to represent India in developing scalable, AI-driven safety solutions.

Engaging the Next Generation
Beyond technology, the summit emphasized the human element of safety. FSAI leadership met with the Dubai Youth Council to discuss capacity building and education. Ajit Raghavan, FSAI’s International Affairs Chairman, emphasized that long-term safety outcomes are deeply rooted in youth participation and modern innovation.
As the World Safety Summit 2026 concludes, India’s prominent role signifies a shift toward more proactive, technology-led safety frameworks, positioning the country as a leader in the global mission to build disaster-resilient communities.
