365telugu.com online news,Hyderabad, August 14, 2025: In a vibrant tribute to India’s 79th Independence Day, students of Glendale International School, Financial District, turned their school walls into a canvas of patriotism and pride through a unique mural-painting initiative titled “Stories of Viksit Bharat: Nation First, Always First.”

Over 20 students from Grades 6 to 10 came together to create a 60-foot-long masterpiece, weaving together India’s cultural heritage, achievements in science and technology, and aspirations for a developed nation.

At the heart of the artwork is a striking portrait of the Prime Minister, surrounded by the four pillars of the initiative-Garibi (poverty eradication), Yuva (youth empowerment), Naari (women empowerment), and Kisaan (farmer welfare).

The murals also spotlight two significant national efforts:

  • Swachh Bharat, symbolising cleanliness, selfless service, and community participation.
  • Operation Sindoor, portraying India’s unwavering commitment to dignity, honour, and security.

Speaking about the project, Ms. Minu Salooja, Director of Glendale Schools, said:

“Our walls now speak of India’s rich heritage, resilience, and vision for a Viksit Bharat. These murals reflect our students’ creativity, unity, and national pride. It’s heartening to see young learners honour the past while envisioning a brighter future.”

She emphasised Glendale’s focus on nurturing critical thinkers:

“We aim to raise children who know not just what to think, but how to think. Initiatives like these allow them to explore perspectives and meaningfully contribute to the nation’s story.”

Advaitha Kolli, a Grade 9 student, shared her personal reflection:

“This was a chance to honour our heroes and celebrate India’s progress. Painting these walls let me express my hopes for a progressive, united India.”
