They will distribute three months’ worth of ration — for June, July, and August — all at once during the month of June. Officials stated that this initiative aims to ensure essential commodities reach the public on time.
Ration Shops Open Throughout June
All ration shops in the state will be operational from June 1 to June 30. A Civil Supplies Circle Assistant Officer confirmed that this extended period will allow all citizens to collect their rations promptly.
Triple Fingerprint Verification Mandatory for Three Months’ Ration
Normally, a single fingerprint scan is required per month. However, a change has been implemented for June’s distribution. This time, a triple fingerprint verification will be mandatory for the three months’ worth of ration. Officials believe this measure will help prevent irregularities and misuse of commodities.

It is essential for every family member linked to a ration card to complete the eKYC process. Officials warn that many have yet to complete this, which could lead to difficulties in upcoming ration distributions.
Rice Distribution Details Per Card
AFSC Card: 35 kg of rice per card
FSC Card: 6 kg of rice per member
Annapurna Card: 10 kg of rice per card
Additionally, other essential commodities like sugar and flour will also be distributed as per the card type.
