At the muhurat shot, senior actor Nagamahesh sounded the first clapboard, while producer Manjula Chavan switched on the camera.

Director Ramesh Anegouni told reporters:
“Films that start at Filmnagar Temple often turn into super‑hits. We’re banking on that blessing for Karmani. Principal photography begins the first week of May; more updates soon.”
