365telugu.comonline news,Hyderabad, 30 November 2025:In a significant step towards strengthening its infrastructure to meet the growing needs of its members and students, The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) today performed the Bhoomi Pooja for its new Hyderabad Branch building on the newly acquired land.
The auspicious ceremony was graced by CA. Charanjot Singh Nanda, President, ICAI, and CA. Prasanna Kumar D, Vice-President, ICAI, along with Central Council and Regional Council Members, senior members of the profession, and a large gathering of Hyderabad Branch members and students.

Speaking on the occasion, CA. Charanjot Singh Nanda, President, ICAI, said, “Strengthening institutional infrastructure is central to ICAI’s vision of nurturing professional excellence. Modern branch buildings serve as vibrant hubs for training, knowledge sharing, research and overall development of members and students, thereby empowering the next generation of Chartered Accountants.”
CA. Prasanna Kumar D, Vice-President, ICAI, added, “ICAI is committed to creating modern, technology-enabled and accessible infrastructure across the country. The new Hyderabad Branch building will significantly enhance our capacity to deliver high-quality professional development programmes, student coaching, and member services in the region.”

CA. Dayaniwas Sharma and CA. Muppala Sridhar, Chairman and Vice-Chairman respectively of the Infrastructure Development Committee, highlighted that the existing premises have become inadequate due to rapid growth in membership and student strength. The new building has been thoughtfully designed with state-of-the-art classrooms, modern classrooms, advanced IT facilities, spacious libraries, auditoriums, and a conducive learning environment that will greatly benefit both students and members.
CA. Chinna Sitarami Reddy A, Chairman, Hyderabad Branch, welcomed the gathering and expressed immense joy at this historic milestone. CA. Girdhari Lal Toshniwal, Vice-Chairman, proposed the vote of thanks.
With this new facility, the Hyderabad Branch will be better equipped to conduct professional development programmes, GMCS & ITT classes, seminars, research activities, and community outreach initiatives on a much larger scale.

Its countrywide infrastructure network comprises 5 Regional Councils, 185 Branches, Centres of Excellence at Jaipur, Hyderabad and Kolkata, 134 auditoriums/seminar halls, 164 IT training centres, over 200 reading rooms & libraries, and 6 advanced Data Analytics & Forensic Labs.
The new Hyderabad Branch building is yet another milestone in ICAI’s continuing journey to build a future-ready ecosystem for the Indian Chartered Accountancy profession.
