365telugu.com online news,November,8th,2025:The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has raised formal concerns over the pending handover of the Asia Cup trophy during the recent ICC meetings in Dubai. Despite India’s victory in the tournament final on September 28, the team has yet to receive the physical trophy.
According to reports, BCCI Secretary Devajit Saikia informed the ICC board that the trophy is still secured at the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) headquarters in Dubai, awaiting clearance from its chairman.
The ACC Chairman, Mohsin Naqvi—who also holds a ministerial position in Pakistan—attended the ICC session after earlier uncertainty about his participation. The discussions were described as amicable but unresolved, with members exploring the possibility of forming a special panel to manage and finalize the trophy’s transfer.

As of now, no formal decision has been made regarding the panel’s creation. However, the BCCI maintains that the Asia Cup trophy should be handed over to India without further delay, reflecting their rightful win.
The matter has drawn attention among ICC board members, several of whom reportedly support a swift and transparent resolution to the issue.
